About this Event
Poulton Hall Walled Gardens Open
The Poulton Hall Walled gardens are highly unusual, having numerous references to Childrens' Literature. Entering via the wardrobe, with attendant welcoming witch, you enter Narnia, before a journey through Alice's wonderland, passing the Jabberwock, and on to Robin Hood, King Arthur, and other characters. There is generally some musical entertainment, and a storyteller, and cream teas will be available. It's fun for all the family, and especially exciting for children (for whom admission is free) who like the Nursery Rhyme Garden, Pirate Ship, and Wendy House. Large free car park, and teas subject to availability. About 200 yds walk, wheelchair accessible, dogs on leads welcome.
