The Climbing Academy - The Arc
Situated at the end of Westmead lane, The Arc offers bouldering and roped climbing for all ages and abilities. Climbing is a sociable sport that is great for physical and mental health, developing strength, fitness, balance, problem-solving and focus – plus it’s lots of fun. The roped climbing includes top-ropes, lead lines and auto belays as well as an outside climbing wall overlooking a free (unsupervised) skatepark.
ENTRY
You can start bouldering at any age (as long as you are accompanied by a registered adult) and start roped climbing from 6 years. Over 70s climb for free. You can pay-per-visit or sign up for a monthly pass – which gets you into all TCA centres. There are 2 in Bristol and 2 in Glasgow.
