70 acre garden in the Welsh Marches, created over 120 years by the Banks family. More than 5,000 rare trees and shrubs, including the National Collections of maples, birches and zelkovas. Maple Grove contains new introductions from all over the world, and in Park Wood giant rhododendrons and exotic trees create a positively Himalayan scene. Herbaceous borders, kitchen garden, roses, rockery: a garden for all seasons.
The gardens are partially accessible to wheelchair users.

Plant Sales area selling a fantastic range of unusual plants, shrubs and trees.
Maples Tearooms, serving home cooked light lunches and teas made from locally sourced ingredients, really good coffee and Kelsmor ice cream.

Open daily 11.30 to 5.00 until Sunday 30th October.
£7.00 adult admission; accompanied children under 16 free.
