Britain's What's On Event Guide
Hermon Chapel Arts Centre
Guided by a strong ethos of independence, The Hermon welcomes artists from a wide range of genres, offering its audience a vibrant cross-section of high-quality live shows across numerous genres such as theatre, comedy, live music, workshops and talks. Monthly concerts of Jazz, Folk and Experimental blend with Blues, Rock, Pop, World and even Indian Classical music directly from Mumbai! The venue itself, a former grade 2* listed beautifully refurbished Welsh Congregational Chapel built in 1862 with ground floor, balcony seating and bar, creates an intimate atmosphere that encourages informality and provides the ideal setting for performers and audience to mingle! Oh, yes, and of course not to forget, there is the resident ‘Patron Saint’ overlooking all proceedings: Lionhead rabbit Hermes! Could you want more?
