Pershore Community Choir
If you want to sing, meet new friends, and enjoy evenings of fun and harmony, why not drop in to Pershore's Community Choir on a Monday evening? We're usually at the St Andrew's Centre (just behind the Abbey in Church Walk) BUT do contact to check because, at the moment, on some Mondays we are elsewhere!
The choir is a friendly and welcoming group of people who meet to sing for the enjoyment of doing so! We sing songs from many cultures and traditions and all are taught 'by ear' so there's no need to read music and any voices are welcome. Choir leader, Liz Hooper, tries to ensure that sessions are fun, first and foremost, with a good measure of 'song satisfaction' included!
YOUR FIRST, TASTER, SESSION IS FREE OF CHARGE so why not come along and learn songs from Africa, New Zealand, Eastern Europe, North and South America, the South Seas and of course from Great Britain. From Pop to Gospel, from Folk Songs to Forest Chants, there's a wonderful world of song to be explored. Come and join us! --- For more info contact Liz Hooper - details below
