VISUALise exhibition of contemporary stitched art textiles
The VISUALise textile art exhibition features artwork by 13 textile artists: Wendy Bates, Jane Caven, Viv Denscombe, Janet Gosling, Sandra Jenkins, Therese Kane, Karin Kirk, Sue Latimer, Mary Martin, Alyssa Robinson, Jane Stock, Val Taylor and Olivia Wilson
On show will be abstract, realistic and figurative art using a wide range of media… wire, paper, fabric (new, distressed and recycled).
These have been hand and machine stitched, or felted to create art inspired by both the natural world and the built environment. As well as wall mounted art other smaller unframed pieces, cards, accessories, gifts and creative fabric and thread packs are on show to inspire and buy, ideal for Christmas??
