Afternoon tea in historic and pretty downland village

Relax with tea and delicious home-made cake in the historic church or in the churchyard overlooking peaceful rural views. St Mary's is home to the famous Aldworth giant statues, a 1,000 year old Yew Tree, and Millennium Tapestry. Also worth seeing is the memorial to poet Laurence Binyon, whose ashes were scattered here, and who penned the immortal lines often quoted on Remembrance Sunday:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn; At the going down of the sun and in the morning,We will remember them
2.30 - 4.30 Wednesdays only
