Heritage Open Day: All Souls' Church was completed to the designs of Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1880, and as the city's memorial to Revd.Walter Farquhar Hook was furnished on a lavish scale - a treasure house of ecclesiastical art and a living church today. All Souls' Church was completed in 1880 as the city's memorial to the great 19th century vicar of Leeds Walter Farquhar Hook who became Dean of Chichester. It represents George Gilbert Scott's last great church;
