Edge Chamber Choir - ‘Earthrise’
The highly acclaimed Edge Chamber are returning to St Laurence’s church Ludlow for a programme of exciting choral music. The concert features ‘Earthrise’ by Alec Roth, which was inspired by a photograph of Earth taken from the moon in 1968. Scored for choir and organ, it reflects on our relationship with the beautiful planet on which we live.
Other pieces in the programme continue the theme and include ‘Let Them Not Say’ by Chris Hutchings, and ‘A Prayer’ by Richard Harvey in a special arrangement made for the choir by the composer.
