Britain's What's On Event Guide
Chepstow Walking Festival 2nd- 7th April 2024
There is no better way, in our opinion, than discovering an area by joining a guided walk with an experienced friendly walk leader who has devised a route to showcase the very best the area has to offer. Chepstow Walking Festival is now in its 10th year and firmly placed on the 'walker's calendar'. The festival has over 39 guided walks which has a mix of much loved favourites and newly devised walks exploring the beautiful Lower Wye Valley and beyond. There is plenty of choice, for those that prefer a gentler pace or a challenging walk to really stretch the legs. On a number of walks dogs are welcome as the route has been designed to keep away from livestock as much as possible and difficult stiles to a minimum. The walks are led by either by local friendly Walk Leaders or a professional in their field for the more specialized walks.
Chepstow walking festival provides an opportunity to reunite with friends or if you are new to walking as a pastime, meet other like minded people and discover those hidden and not so hidden gems which are no less beautiful and interesting.
Chepstow is an accredited Walkers are Welcome town which is part of a National organisation that aims to provide the best possible walking experience.
