Willow Hearts and Flowers workshop
In this workshop, you will learn to use willow to make hearts and flowers, for Valentines or Mothers Day or to keep and decorate your own home.
In the lovely setting of Haddenham Arts Centre, near Ely, Jane will take you through all the techniques necessary to make your piece and everyone will go home with a finished basket they can be proud of.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those who have done some willow weaving before. Maximum 8 places enables a really good learning experience. All tools and materials are supplied.
Jane has experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs.
Additional things you might like to bring; Notebook, pens or pencil, Garden Wire, Scissors and String, Sharp Knife – Stanley or Craft, Gardening gloves.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You will need to have a reasonable amount of strength in your hands to be able to work with the willow. Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.
Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
