Hidden Courtyards and Gardens of Wirksworth
Wirksworth is a small yet vibrant Market town on the edge of the Peak District.
Among it's many attractions, it holds an annual Open Gardens event.
It is hoped that approximately up to 30 gardens will be open.
Date - Saturday 29th June and Sunday 30th June
Time - 11.00 till 4.00pm (please note the new time)
Ticket prices - £5.00 / under 16's free if accompanied by an adult
Tickets are available for purchase on the day at the following locations - 'Marsdens' gift shop in the centre of town / 'Green Gates' which is one of the garden venues on Coldwell Street / a stand opposite the Memorial Garden's outside Waltham House near the centre of town.
Tickets purchased can be used on both days.
Some of the gardens will be providing drinks and cakes / a couple of the gardens also have toilet
facilities - these will be clearly indicated on the Trail Map which you will be provided with when
you purchase a ticket
Money raised through the event is donated to local Wirksworth based groups and organisations. We also support 'Study Guatemala' which is a children's Education provision in Guatemala
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO TAKE CASH. (There are two ATM' s in Wirksworth)
