Suffolk Family History Society Celebrates 50 years.

On Wednesday 7th January 2026 we welcome Dale Wiseman who presents Aviation, Money and Politics, the remarkable story of Lady Lucy Houston )1857- 1936), who from humble beginnings, thrice married and accumulated vast wealth. What did the money mean to her? What did she use it for?
Well Lucy supported many projects including the Suffragette, and the future Spitfire aircraft.
She also mixed with and confronted some of the big political figures of her era.
Churchill and Oswald Mosely were just two who faced the British Boudica

Come along and find out more about her... She is far more than just a footnote to British History!!!!
