Heritage Open Day: Surrounded by woodland in the heart of the Chilterns countryside, this much-loved home of a colourful Victorian Prime Minister also hides a secret wartime history. Enjoy free entry to Hughenden on Saturday 10th and Wednesday 14th September. With rewarding views, relaxing walks and a friendly atmosphere, Hughenden is the perfect place to explore and unwind. Find out about Hughenden’s Victorian history and uncover its secret wartime story in the Manor or join one of the brief introductory talks to help make the most of your visit. Pick up some gardening tips in the walled garden and discover over 30 varieties of old English apples and pears in the Orchard. Whether you are interested in discovering the much-loved home of Benjamin Disraeli and its secret wartime history, admiring the garden, exploring the surrounding parkland, or enjoying a hot drink and a slice of cake in the café, we look forward to welcoming you to Hughenden Manor.
