Willow Craft Series: Willow Bird Feeder Workshop
Join us for a willow bird feeder-making workshop at Attenborough Nature Centre.
About the event
Create your own beautiful hanging bird feeder using sustainably sourced willow, perfect for holding suet balls/pellets. In this 2.5-hour workshop, our experienced facilitator will guide you through the weaving technique to create a willow bird feeder that can be re-used for years to come. We provide all the willow and tools (such as secateurs and gloves) needed to create your bird feeder and our facilitator will be on hand throughout to answer queries and provide support. You are welcome to bring along any of your own tools if you wish.
The workshop takes place in our Community Room, a private space to the rear of the centre, with beautiful views over the water. The cost of the ticket also includes refreshments and cake.
