Enchanted Lights
We are so excited to invite you back to experience our enchanted lights woodland trail, this will be held over four evenings: 2nd, 3rd,4th & 5th November.
Absorb the atmosphere at our Enchanted Lights Event over the evenings of 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th November where the trees and arboretum will be lit up with coloured lights, soft music and special illuminations. **NEW** this year is a storytelling Bell Tent near the Charity Water Fountain for St Barnabas for your to enjoy. There will also be a **NEW** Fairground Carousel for children (at a small additional cost) creating a fun-filled and magical evening. Also featuring fire dance performances, LED spinning performances and a Treasured Memory Tree this makes for a truly immersive and entertaining evening.
You begin your experience walking through a lit tunnel leading to a ice themed garden with snowflakes, icicyles and a snowman before warming up along the trail to culminate in fire performances at the end!
You wind through the trees around onto to the Old Hall Lawn where a magical children’s Fairground Carousel awaits, marshmallow toasting and a selection of drinks will also be available. Throw your loose change in the St Barnabas Hospice wishing fountain, take a moment to appreciate the incredible work they provide and chat to one of the St Barnabas volunteers whilst absorbing the atmosphere of the arboretum. Make sure you stop by the story telling bell tent to enjoy some enchanting tales, before walking around to the safari tent where fire dancing and LED performances will take place under the sparkling glitter ball. Don’t forget to follow the festoon lighting around to the home oak tree decorated with baubles and stars; before walking around to add a ribbon to the Treasured Memory Tree. This makes for an truly immersive and entertaining evening for all ages!
