Knighton Christmas Tree Festival
Many people say the Knighton Christmas Tree Festival marks the start of the Christmas season.
You are warmly invited to visit this beautiful, local 700-year-old church to see the Christmas trees which have been decorated by local groups, schools, organisations, charities, businesses, individuals and families.
Enjoy seasonal refreshments and music while helping to raise money for this year’s local charity - LAMP (Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project) - and for our community garden project.
Musical entertainment this year will include:
on Saturday - a choir 10-11 am; and a string quartet 2-3pm
on Sunday - a brass band 3-4pm.
For children there will be free squash and biscuits, as well as seasonal activities.
Join us for Carols among the Trees to round off the festival on Sunday 4th December at 5 pm.
