North Notts Group Talk: Understanding and Conserving Insects
We've all been concerned by the lack of butterflies and bees in our gardens this summer. Kieron Huston of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Entomological Society gives a talk on how important our gardens are in understanding and conserving these amazing creatures.
About the event
Kieron will give a talk entitled 'The Role of the Garden in Understanding and Conserving Insects'. This couldn't be more important. We've all been concerned by the lack of butterflies in our gardens this summer. Bees also seem to have been in short supply. Long gone are the days you could buy fly squash remover in Halfords to clean them off your car windscreen!
This event is organised by the North Notts Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, but you don't have to be a member to enjoy our monthly talks during the winter months.
