The Christie Tower Run

46 floors, 1 amazing cause, The Christie Tower Run is not an event to be missed!

Sprint, jog or walk up one of Manchester’s most iconic buildings, the Beetham Tower and help The Christie Charity get a step ahead of cancer.

This challenge is Manchester’s ONLY tower run event, and is open to all abilities, making it an incredibly unique, perfect event for everyone from seasoned athletes to casual walkers.

After a thigh-burning dash or stroll to the top, you’ll have exclusive access to Cloud 23 bar where you will be met with a hero’s welcome, a choice of refreshments and a much-needed massage to soothe all your aches and pains!

Register on The Christie website for the early bird offer of just £10 until 1st September, or £15 afterwards, and all The Christie ask is you pledge to raise a minimum of £120 in sponsorship.

What to expect on the day

• The time you select during the registration process is your start time. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to register, collect your chipped race number and warm up.
• The first wave time is 9:30am, with the warmup starting 10 minutes before this. There are slots every 45 minutes to choose from.
• Participants will be released in intervals within their waves to reduce overtaking and prevent bottlenecks in the stairwell.
• There are 46 floors to take you up to the top of Beetham, which adds up to an impressive 798 steps!
• You can run, jog or walk your
