Yoga Beginners' Dru 4wk course
Absolute Beginners' Dru Yoga 4 week Foundation course begins Thursday 10 - 11am at the Zen yoga studio in Spalding with Yoga Therapist Michelle Helstrip. Gentle, rhythmic movements synchronised with the breath, taking you through the first Dru sequence and moving the spine in its six ways.
The course is designed to give participants a foundation from which to build their own yoga practice, with lots of examples of ways in which you can take your yoga 'off the mat' and into everyday situations e.g. learning breath practices to help with managing negative emotions. The Zen space has lots of mats, props, blankets etc to use in class, so you only need to bring a bottle of water to sip from and your self. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, and bring an extra layer for warmth when we pause. Yoga is practised in bare feet, but its an idea to have a pair of socks handy for relaxation, as the body cools down after activity.
Michelle Helstrip, Founder of DRUVA Yoga Therapy & Wellbeing, is a Yoga Therapist specialising in Back Care; Prenatal; and Wellbeing. Registrant with Complementary & Natural Healthcare (CNHC), the government-backed body for ensuring that the public have access to appropriately trained therapists.
Thursdays 10am - 11am from 19 Jan 2023. E:yoga@druva.co.uk for pricing and registration. Max 10 participants, your place is guaranteed once payment in full has been received.
