Young Rangers at Sutton Courtenay
A wildlife club for 8-11 year olds who love nature and wildlife. An opportunity to learn wildlife ID, conservation and bush craft skills whilst having fun on our beautiful nature reserve. Children are unaccompanied for the session.
Wildlife and seasonal themed activities for children to explore and engage in the great outdoors! Sessions last for 2 hours and are packed full of fun games and activities to teach you all about the fantastic natural world that surrounds you.
Over the course of a year, you can expect to:
- Learn about wildlife including insects, plants, birds and mammals
- Complete valuable conservation work and learn how to use tools safely
- Develop bush craft skills including fire lighting and campfire cooking
Please do not allow children to attend the session if they are unwell, suffering flu or COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19.
Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.
This club is for children only - no adults to accompany please. A consent form must be completed and returned for each child before the session - details will be sent after booking.
Session runs 1.30pm-3.30pm
