As Viola washes onto an unknown shore after a tragic shipwreck, she doesn't know what to make of the carnival that greets her. Illyria is a spectacle of music, dance, laughter and anger: disguising herself as a servant, she must navigate sullen dukes, grieving ladies and bawdy lords to find her place in this new, scary, exciting world, where it seems like anything can happen.
