Sleaford Choral Easter Concert 2025 Lee Requiem
St Denys Church, Market Place, Sleaford, Lincolnshire NG34 7SH

Concert begins at 7.30pm.Tickets are £15 , U16 (accompanied) FoC, and Students (16-25, with valid Studentcard) £10, which includes a finger buffet at the interval and a programme.
Soft drinks and wine are available to be purchased at the interval.

Sleaford Choral Easter Concert 2025 Lee Requiem
Sleaford Choral will perform a programme of music composed and/or arranged by their Musical Director, Rowland Lee. The centrepiece will be the beautiful Lee Requiem - this is the first time that the Choir will perform the Requiem.
We are delighted to welcome our soloists; Kate Woolveridge, who will perform the mezzo-soprano role, and Mark Wilde, the tenor. Both are very well-known for their work in major operatic roles; Kate with the Welsh National Opera, as well as Glyndebourne and the English National Opera, and Mark with many UK and European opera houses, aswell his many recordings. Mark may also be known locally for his work as Musical Director with Lincoln Choral Society.
Our special guests for the concert are Sleaford Concert Band, who will perform their own programme and will also accompany the choir during the Requiem. This is to be held in the magnificent surroundings and wonderful acoustics of St Denys' Church in Sleaford.
Sleaford Choral will be conducted by Rowland Lee and accompanied by Ed Wellman (Lincoln University) at the piano and organ, and by Rowena Bass on the harp
