Polperro Fishermen’s Choir at Looe Carnival
It's Looe carnival week so what better way to spend Thursday evening than listening to Polperro Fishermen's Choir singing a range of popular songs in Looe lifeboat house, which has excellent acoustics and seating too (subject, of course, to operational demands on the lifeboats).. The concert is free but - be warned! - there may be some very scary Lions around trying to blag some coins from you! The concert is at 8pm on Thursday 3rd August but there are different carnival events all week, including a Furry Dance, a children's sand modelling competition, a ukulele extravaganza, a three-legged race in fancy dress and, of course, a grand procession on Saturday 5th August.
