John Arthy's New Orleans Jazz Band
John and his musicians have been performing Jazz Concerts at St Nicolas Church for some years and have proved extremely popular. This year's concert is made up of a seven-piece band playing dance tunes well known in New Orleans from the beginning of the nineteenth century, like 'Alexander's Ragtime Band' through 'Way down yonder in New Orleans', 'Roses of Picardy' and 'The Sunny Side of the Street'.
