Organ Recital by Peter Bassett
Peter was already an experienced organist when, after retiring from a career in Consultancy, he read for a Master's Degree at the University of Sheffield studying the life and works of the French organist Theodore Dubois. In this recital he focuses on English organists from sixteenth century William Byrd to twentieth century Herbert Howells including S S Wesley's 'Holsworthy Church Bells' and C S Lang's 'Tuba Tune'.
