Christmas Murder Mystery Dinner 7th Dec
Exmouth Pavilion and Moonstone Theatre presents an evening of murder mystery...
A family Christmas in 1935, what could be better? Open fires, lights twinkling on the Christmas tree, Christmas pudding steaming on the hob and presents stacked up ready to be opened on the great day.
However, all was not well in the Easterbrook family. Alan and Jane Easterbrook had waited anxiously for their son Noel, who was coming home to spend Christmas with his parents. His Aunt Eleanor, Alan’s sister, had arrived safely with her husband Derek but by early Christmas morning there was still no sign of Noel.
Alan Easterbrook was on the point of calling the police when there was knock at the door. A policeman had arrived with bad news. The body of Noel Easterbrook had been found by the Christmas Tree propped up against the War Memorial erected after the Great War. He had been murdered.
Who would do such a thing, and why? The policeman was determined to get to the truth and asked to meet the family later that day in the village pub. He called on the other guests to help him get to the truth. All the clues will be there to get to the bottom of the mystery but will they be correctly deduced.
