Operation Mincemeat (12A)

In the middle of WW2 there were many plots and counter plots hatched but few were as audacious as Operation Mincemeat. A British agent is sent to decoy the enemy into thinking an invasion was imminent. A dangerous mission it seems but less perilous when the agent is already dead… Colin Firth plays the chap who had the idea in a film where the term “stiff upper lip” may be rather bad taste. Based on a true story. (UK 2021)
