Polperro Fishermen’s Choir Centenary Concert in Looe
This is a very special year for Polperro Fishermen’s Choir, 100 years after the choir was started by working fishermen in Polperro. This promises to be a very special centenary concert in our favourite ‘concert hall'. with its excellent acoustics, seating and informal atmosphere. The concert is free but donations for charity are very welcome! Since the choir suggested using the lifeboat station for concerts many years ago, with other choirs following suit, huge sums of money have been raised for the RNLI from the very generous donations of the audiences.
