A Night at the Opera
North Wales Opera Studio returns to Y Dolydd, Llanfyllin’s historic Workhouse, on Saturday, 13 July for another courtyard concert. Starting at 7.00 the programme features well-loved numbers from La Traviata, The Magic Flute, and Madam Butterfly as well as Les Mis, Cats and My Fair Lady. Performers include the exciting young mezzo Rhian Carys-Jones, Welsh baritone Aaron Kendall, Liverpool tenor Lewis Quinn and soprano Cecilia Yuning Zhang from Beijing. They’ll feature alongside other young Welsh and English singers who are breaking into the world of opera and music theatre. If wet the performance will transfer to the Workhouse Venue. Bar and buffet available.
