Trowbridge Philharmonic Choir directed by Graham Dalby.
A Summer's evening of frolics and tarantaras. Pirates, Sailors, Three Japanese Maids, a Jury and some very happy Gondoliers. These are joined by a London bus, a Slow Train, a Gasman, some snobbish honeysuckle and of course, making a splash, a bold Hippopotamus! The genius of Gilbert and Sullivan's topsy turvy operettas set to really catchy melodies is programmed with the 1960's satircal duo, Michael Flanders and Donald Swann. Clever, witty and tremendously entertaining. All are required to join in the final chorus of Glorious Mud !
