Glorious Glitter Film
Claire Cousins is a textile artist, tutor, You-Tuber and founder of the Textiles East Fair. She has a passion for all things relating to textiles and wishes to share her love of Heat Applied Glitter Film and hand embroidery in this unique workshop.
Why not join Claire in this relaxed and mindful art of creating a delicate floral embroidery incorporating Glitter Film. Learn how to freehand cut and how to use a die cutting machine to create glitter film shapes that can then be ironed on to a background. Claire will show you how to add French knots, daisy stitch, beads and sequins to complete a stunning mini embroidery.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, no previous sewing experience is required.
Materials included except for scissors and a Pilot Frixion pen or similar temporary marking pen/chalk.
In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students. You can choose from a selection of jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and soups.
