Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Bolton Rock Choir
Do you want to join a choir near you?
The Bolton Rock Choir is led by Greater Manchester based musician Xander-Jaymes Le Petit. You may know about our unique sellout O2 arena event in 2013 and our secret singing flash mobs around country for Comic Relief (just search 'Great British flash mob' on YouTube!), but at Rock Choir we know it's not just about the unique huge events, it's about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Bolton Rock Choir to become part of this 'national phenomenon' (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to sing in Bolton and meet people.
You've probably heard us singing in and around Greater Manchester, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Bolton Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'If you want to smile and sing for an hour and a half, go to Rock Choir. Getting on stage is so rewarding and when your 6 year-old says how proud he is of his mummy, then it's worth every moment!' - Caroline Jopling (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
