Your friendly local Fleet choir is run by choir leader Lucy Hewes. Over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people's hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and commitment to community singing in towns like Fleet. With performances at prestigious national venues such as the O2 arena (which we sold out!) and sporting events such as Sport Relief, you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Fleet Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Fleet choir members recommend their friends!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives.
