Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Halifax Rock Choir
Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?
The Halifax Rock Choir is led by singer/pianist Narelle Hill. It's our privilege to take a minute to tell you about our mysterious choir flash mobs around the country for Comic Relief, our sell-out performances at venues like the O2 or our hit ITV documentary, but at Rock Choir we know it's not just about the unique huge events, it's about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Halifax Rock Choir to become part of this 'national phenomenon' (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to sing and make friends!
Rock Choir offers the chance to sing pop, rock and Motown songs together in a comfortable, unauditioned way. There are 10+ rehearsals a term and any commitment you make fit easily around the main holiday times in the year. You can contact us by phone, email or directly book your FREE singing taster session at rockchoir.com/join.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I can only echo what people have said about Rock Choir. It's had such an impact on mine and other's lives. A fantastic outlet for singing feel-good songs, the ones we all enjoy to listen to - and the opportunity to be part of a group producing an amazing sound. I've made so many friends and had many fantastic experiences during my last 5 years with Rock Choir and look forward to many more!' - Emma (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
