Gaslight
In this famous Victorian-set thriller, Jack Manningham is slowly and deliberately driving his wife Bella insane. And he has almost succeeded when help arrives in the unlikely shape of a former detective, ex-Inspector Rough, who suspects Manningham to be a thief and murderer. But can Rough gather the vital evidence he needs in time to save Bella from a fate worse than death? And what is the significance of the gaslight that dims in the drawing room without apparent reason?
