Heritage Open Day: Wonderful history and self-guided tours/Church Trail. A small display of Trena Cox's life and work. Climb the 100+ steps up the tower for views. All Things Bright and Beautiful Pet Service at 1600. Refreshments. 12th century Norman church, stone structure forms the present nave. 14th century south aisle and chancel. 17th century bread shelves and charity board. The 400 year old porch has a heavily studded door with spy hole. North aisle built in the 1960’s features two stained glass windows designed by Trena Cox. There will be a small display of Trena Cox’s life and work. Church opens for visitors 10am to 4pm with guided leaflets and Children’s Trail available during the day. See the bread shelves and charity board that reflect the social conditions of the time.
