Families Go Wild
Explore and get messy at Black Park!
Join us in Black Pines Camp for some fun in the woods! We have a variety of activities for your child to go wild, including a mud kitchen, sand pit, bug hunting, games stations, water play, weaving, balancing, crafts and more. You'll also be able to have a go at using tools!
What is Families Go Wild all about?
Families Go Wild sessions take place on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons and are sessions for all: Tots, Families, Home schoolers and children with special educational needs. This is a mixed aged group session suitable for 1-10 year olds. This is a relaxed session and you can turn up at any point during the session. If you would prefer a session suitable for children ages 1-5 please check out our Tots Go Wild sessions on Friday mornings in term time.
Sessions run 1000-1130, most Tuesdays during term-time
Sessions run from 13:00-14:30, most Fridays during term-time
There will be a themed activity each week, plus multiple other activity stations. The sessions are child-led, with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence. Towards the end of the session we gather together for refreshments and have a sing song!
You can casually book the date(s) you'd like to attend, or block book the full half-term to guarantee a place each week.
We go ahead in all weathers - unless deemed unsafe - so please dress appropriately!
A?s this is a trial for 6 weeks we really value your opinion. Please email us any recommendations you may have to countryparks@buckinghamshire.gov.uk. If this session is a success we hope to make it a permanent Forest School offer.
