Capriol Chamber Orchestra Autumn Concert
The Capriol Chamber Orchestra is celebrating the work of Beethoven and Bruch in October with a feast for your ears on Saturday 7th October at Minchinhampton Parish Church, Minchinhampton at 7.30pm.
The programme will include the well-known Egmont Overture Op. 84, the Bruch Violin Concerto Op. 26 and Symphony No. 1 in C, Op. 21.
We are delighted to announce that our guest soloist is Oliver Heath, founder of the Heath Quartet which has toured internationally, and has won several awards including a Gramophone award and Limelight Magazine Recording of the Year award. . Oliver has also performed widely as a soloist, and is increasingly in demand as a teacher, giving regular masterclasses in both violin and chamber music, and as an adjudicator.
Oliver teaches both violin and chamber music at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and was in-residence at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire 2015-2019. He has given masterclasses throughout UK, US and Europe, and has taught at Dartington Summer School for many years.
Tickets £12 (£10 for people in full time education, on Universal Credit, Job Seekers Allowance, or Income Support), £1 reduction on tickets purchased prior to concert evening. Children under 16 free.
