SBADS presents 'B Confused' - three comic plays
Join South Brent Amateur Dramatic Society for an evening of comedy featuring three short plays:
- ‘Mother Figure’, by Alan Ayckbourn;
- ‘Plan B’ by Robert Scott;
- ‘Gosforth’s Fete’ by Alan Ayckbourn.
In ‘Mother Figure’ we find a harassed mum who cannot escape from baby talk, and her bickering neighbours who confusingly find themselves cut down to size.
‘Plan B’ takes an anniversary trip to Accident & Emergency, where a disgruntled couple get unexpected help from the eccentric, saucepan-clad Belinda.
Gordon Gosforth’s a man who needs plan B, C and D in ‘Gosforth’s Fete’, when the carefully-arranged annual village event descends into confusion and chaos thanks to a thunderstorm, a malfunctioning tea urn and a mix up with a microphone.

This amateur production of “Mother Figure” & “Gosforth’s Fete” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk. This amateur production of “Plan B” is by arrangement with Lazy Bee Scripts.
All three plays offer comic views of chaotic lives that are guaranteed to bring laughter to South Brent.
