Willow Decorations and Sculpture workshop
Willow weaving is a great way to learn about traditional techniques and natural materials. This whole day workshop is led by Cambridgeshire sculptor and weaver Jane Frost, who will provide you with skills to make unique decorations and sculpture for your home or as gifts.
Friday November 17th
£78 per person. 10a.m. - 3.30p.m.
All materials and tools are supplied
Workshops are led by sculptor and weaver Jane Frost who will take you through all the techniques necessary to make your decorations, everyone will go home with a finished piece they can be proud of.
Maximum 8 places enable a really good learning experience. All tools and materials are supplied. This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 13, complete beginners and those who have done willow weaving before. Jane has great experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
Additional things you might like to bring. Ribbons and decorative items to personalise your decorations. Notebook, pens or pencil, Garden Wire, Scissors and String, Gardening gloves.
Important information
You can book lunch from the menu when you arrive, Haddenham Arts Centre has a good cafe with food prepared fresh each day.
You will need to have a reasonable amount of strength in your hands to be able to work with the willow. Please wear older clothes, such as those you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.
Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
