The Arts Society of West Suffolk Lecture
The Arts Society of West Suffolk aims to give members the opportunity to make friends with people with similar interests in the Arts, as well as providing the opportunity for members to enjoy stimulating and interesting lectures, study days and outings which will increase their knowledge and understanding. In addition, we organise visits to art galleries, museums and places of special historic, architectural, cultural or topical interest. New members and visitors welcome.
MESSENGER OR MISSILE - GLAD TIDINGS, GLOOM OR PERDITION?
Angels, familiar and fantastic can be seen in centuries of art work. Time to contrast the beauty and light of cherubim and seraphim with the fiery abyss of Satan and contemplate the Angel of the North?
Doors open from 10 am when coffee will be served. Lecture starts promptly at 10.45 am
This lecture will be followed by Christmas sherry and mince pies.
