Little Women
Meet Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, the four March sisters, who are our Little Women.
Let Sharnbrook Mill Theatre transport you to the 1860s when young ladies were meant to do as they were told and behave in a certain genteel way, only Jo has other ideas.
This classic, much-moved play, set during the American Civil War, will lead you on a journey through the March family’s lives as they navigate friendship, love, loss, romance, sadness, happiness and financial difficulties.
But one thing endures throughout: their love for each other.
See how the sisters adapt to life’s challenges, but on their terms, even if not everyone agrees.
Condoleezza Hankins, its 20-year-old director, says “Little Women is a story that I and so many love. It is filled with such depth and meaning, with morals we can all still relate to today.
“My vision is to capture those moments that make us fall in love with the characters and make us desperate to know how their side of the story ends.
“I hope we can put on a piece where we can all smile, laugh and cry together!”
