East Bedfordshire Chamber Choir, Concert theme: Sung Three Times
Our musical programme, conducted by Edwin Reynolds, explores a range of interpretations of some popular sacred and secular texts. For example Ave Verum Corpus sung three ways - set to contrasting music by Mozart, Elgar and Byrd.
We will also be singing three settings of Robert Burns' text of Red Red Rose, the poem Immortality, Ubi Caritas and O Sacrum Convivium.
Some pieces will be sung a cappella. Others will be accompanied by David Della Valle on keyboard.
