Meet the Author @ Museum Shop Sunday Event

Meet the author on Museum Shop Sunday
Saffron Walden Museum will be taking part in Museum Shop Sunday (26 November), an international event celebrating the unique shops and products which play a vital role in helping arts, culture and heritage attractions to survive and thrive.
Museum Shop Sunday offers an alternative way to do your Christmas shopping after the chaos and crazy discounting of Black Friday – and you can do some good at the same time.
• Find original gifts: the museum shop offers bespoke ranges, stocking fillers and unique gifts – all your Christmas shopping dilemmas solved in one go!
• Shop with a conscience: every purchase helps Saffron Walden Museum look after years of history – what better way to give back at Christmas?
What will be happening on the day?
Come along to Saffron Walden Museum on Sunday 26 November, from 2pm to 4.30pm, and meet Brian Sanders, the local artist and author who is the inspiration behind the museum’s new exhibition – Evacuee: A Wartime Childhood.
Brian will be answering questions and signing copies of his books. His original artworks will be on display along with wartime items and photographs from the museum collection.
This event is free, but normal museum admission prices apply.
More information about the Evacuee: A Wartime Childhood exhibition is available at: www.saffronwaldenmuseum.org/event/evacuee/.
