Come and Sing Christmas!
Invitation to Test Drive a Choir!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to take part in a Christmas concert yourself rather than just sitting in the audience listening to a choir? Do you enjoy singing, both in and out of the bath? If so, here’s a chance to try choral singing with a friendly group of singers in a choral workshop in Leyland on December 6th and even better, invite your friends and family to come and hear you singing with our choir during our Christmas Concert on Wednesday December 13th. We have chosen some brand new carols including a lovely new arrangement of 'The First Nowell' by Bob Chilcott as well as some traditional favourites. We’d love to share our love of music with you and the concert on the 13th is FREE of charge for all who come to listen, so why not take the opportunity to sing with us?
The Rawstorne Singers have organised this special ‘Come and Sing’ Day at St Ambrose Church on Wednesday December 6th at 7:30pm. We are a four part harmony choir which recently sang at Oxford Cathedral and we will be at Blackburn Cathedral for the 'Lights of Love' Carol Service on Friday 1st December. We would love to meet you at St Ambrose Church on December 6th. You’ll benefit from expert choral tuition from our talented Musical Director and music hire and refreshments are all included, for just £5. For more information see www.rawstornesingers.co.uk to book your place or contact Alison on 01772 462202.
The singing rehearsal starts at 7:30pm in St Ambrose Church in Moss Lane, Leyland. The price is just £5 for our 'Come and Sing' evening which includes tuition, music hire and refreshments. The concert on Wednesday the 13th December the following week is completely free for the audience. Last year's novice choristers had a great time both at the rehearsal and the concert afterwards and the audience loved it too.
