Adapted for the stage by Steven Canny and John Nicholson for Peepolykus
This acclaimed adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous adventure gets a hilarious makeover in this fast-paced, farcical comedy thriller. Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on the moors near his home, Baskerville Hall on Dartmoor. His death is believed to be the result of a curse on the family which is said to be haunted by a supernatural hound. With rumours of a giant, ghostly hound loose on the moors putting the life of the Baskerville family’s last remaining heir Sir Henry Baskerville at risk, famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his trusted assistant Dr Watson are called in to solve the mystery and yet another baffling case!
This amateur production of “The Hound of the Baskervilles” is presented by arrangement with NICK HERN BOOKS
Note that there are 2 performances on Saturday 9th December:- the matinee at 2:30pm and the evening performance at 7:45pm
