Britain's What's On Event Guide
Family Health and Wellbeing
We will explore the essentials of a healthy lifestyle to identify action individuals could take to strengthen their health, wellbeing and resilience against diseases. Together with our tutor, Brian Isbell, we will review the background biomedical processes of illnesses and look at ways to naturally address imbalances.
Although we will be looking at the sciences behind diseases, no previous scientific knowledge is necessary, as it will be provided in the sessions. We will evaluate a wide variety of approaches to support health then apply our knowledge to some common diseases. So the main focus will be to look at natural ways to re-establish balance and promote family health, wellbeing and resilience.
The topics to be covered are: essentials of a healthy lifestyle, water as a nutrient, superfoods, supplementation, the microbiome, fats & carbohydrates and addressing imbalances that contribute to dementia, Type 2 diabetes, thyroid function and autoimmune diseases. For more information, booking or further details please see HLfL website.
