Newark & Sherwood Local Group: Beetles with Tim Sexton

Beetles are climbing the charts at Rutland Water! Join Tim Sexton as he explains how and why.

About the event
Tim Sexton, Senior Species and Recording Officer at Rutland Water, talks about a study undertaken by the Fab Four (just a less famous version) to create a baseline of beetle records at Rutland Water and illustrate how the reserve has improved for invertebrates since 2022. Through just eight site visits in one year, they recorded over 600 beetle species making this group of organisms chart toppers at Rutland Water.

This event is organised by the Newark and Sherwood Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
