Crazy Christmas Lights-on
The Barleycorn Inn at Collingbourne Kingston is hosting a fun, family friendly Christmas Lights-on event on Saturday 2nd December starting at 6:30pm with a live broadcast by Castledown FM. We will be welcoming the Christmas spirit and festive season to the village to celebrate Tom & Terry's first Christmas in the Village, to get us all in the mood for the Christmas festivities with an early party, and raise funds for the two charities which The Barleycorn Inn has been supporting in 2023: The Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Great Western NHS Brighter Futures.
This is a free, community event, for all local families from the village and surrounding area. The event kicks off at 6:30 pm, with Castledown FM broadcasting live from the Barleycorn Inn with a countdown to switching our Christmas Lights on at 7 pm. During this time we will be serving Christmas candies for children, hot chocolate, mulled wine, old Tom's famous pulled pork buns and mince pies.
After Castledown FM's live broadcast finishes at about 7:30 pm, we invite all the adults to join us to party the night away in The Barleycorn Inn. We have Terry's super Christmas raffle and will be announcing other fun & games during the run up to the event.
